74 years old. Despite a very long film career and a passion for politics, Arnold Schwarzenegger continues to be very prolific. An actor loved by all, since the 80s. But that, after more than 40 years, he continues to be in the breach. The trailer for his latest “movie”, for example, is thrilling… and hilarious!

Austrian national, but naturalized from the United States. Arnold Schwarzenegger was not born an actor, but a sportsman. From a very young age, in fact, he imposed himself and became famous as one of the greatest bodybuilders in the world. Obviously, the continuation of his acting career was also based and built mainly on his physical skills, rather than on his acting skills.

As far as cinema is concerned, his fame came from his interpretation of the barbarian warrior Conanwhich was followed by the first chapter of the saga of Terminator. We are in the early 80s with Conan. While Terminator (the first chapter is from 1984) will arrive even six in all. Those roles, however, imperiously cast him into Hollywod’s world. And in the late 80’s and early 90’s, he becomes one of the most famous actors. To the sound of cult.

For example, some titles besides the sagas of Conan and Terminator: “Commando” (1985), “Magnum Code” (1986), “Predator” (1987), “Danko” (1988), “The Twins” (1988) , “Act of force” (1990), “True lies” (1994). In recent years we remember him in the saga of “The Mercenaries”, with another sacred monster of cinema to the sound of muscles, such as Sylvester Stallone.

The latest “electric” trailer

At the same time it approaches politics. And, in particular, al Republican Party American. In 2003 he was elected 38th Governor of California. Then, in 2006, he was reconfirmed to the same position. In January 2011, at the end of his term, he returned to the cinema. The political passion and the battles over environmentalism, against racism and inequalities, therefore, have never made him lose the desire to act.

And one of its latest trailers is hilarious. We see him next to the beautiful actress Salma Hayek: how not to remember her in her ballet in “From sunset to dawn”. In the trailer that we propose to you, our Schwarzy is bored Zeus. With its lightning bolts and thunderbolts it must electrify everything a bit.

Almost everything, actually. Because this trailer wasn’t released to advertise one of the actor’s latest films. But it is an advertisement. In particular the Electric BMW iX. We are talking about one of the latest discoveries of the German car manufacturer. Crossover SUV worth over 40 thousand euros produced starting from summer 2021.

Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson have shared a glimpse into their private life.

The Queen & Slim actor posted an adorable photo of the Dawson’s Creek actor and their 19-month-old daughter Janie, whom the couple welcomed in April 2020. In the sweet pic, shared Friday in honor of Thanksgiving, Jackson holds their baby girl’s tiny foot next to his own.

“i’m most thankful for you,” Turner-Smith captioned the post.

The actors kept their family life mostly private since welcoming their child, and have not shown her face on social media. They have gushed about parenthood in interviews, praising each others’ parenting skills and expressing love for their infant daughter.

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Jess Cagle in July, Jackson said that his daughter is, “a little bundle of joy every day.”

“It’s just this amazing thing where all the clichés are true,” he added. “I mean, all of them, they’re like, ‘Oh, you’ll never experience love like this.’ That’s true. And ‘You think you’re in love with them when they first arrive, but you have no idea how much deeper it gets all the time.’ That’s absolutely true.”

He also talked about watching Janie grow and explore the world. “As she starts to come alive and really experience the world and her natural curiosity, and she’s so fearless, it’s just the most incredible thing to watch.”

Turner-Smith also opened up about her family in an interview with People last month, saying that being a parent is “honestly one of the greatest things I could have asked for.” She also called Jackson “an amazing partner and an amazing dad.”

“It’s a lot taking [care] of someone else. But I think it’s beautiful to take care of someone or something else because it really helps us be better human beings,” she added. “Whether you have a dog or a fish or a baby, I think just the consciousness of looking after somebody and not just being so self-centered and self-oriented is really helpful for our world view.”

Brie Larson is no stranger to the spotlight or to making waves at the Super Bowl.

In 2019, Larson stole the show when Marvel used the year’s big game as the launching pad to drop a stunning new Captain Marvel spot which set the internet on fire.

The video quickly racked up millions of views on YouTube and fueled further excitement for her character’s historic film. Less than a month later, Captain Marvel would rake in $455 million during its opening weekend to become one of the biggest opening weekends of all time. The film would go on to earn more than $1.1 billion at the box office making it not only one of Marvel’s biggest origin films but most successful films period.

Fast forward to 2022 and Larson is once again primed to make headlines during Super Bowl weekend, this time through her action-packed new Nissan Super Bowl commercial.

In the new Super Bowl spot, Larson is joined by several familiar faces from the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as Emmy-winner Eugene Levy in a Fast and Furious-esque commercial sure to emerge as one of the year’s top ads.

Ahead of the Super Bowl, Bam Smack Pow had the chance to catch up with Larson to dicuss the gripping “Thrill Driver” Super Bowl commercial, game day loyalties, go-to snacks and more. Plus, find out which Marvel co-star — who she affectionately referred to as her No. 1 —  Larson would love to team up with next!

Brie Larson on Nissan Super Bowl ad, game day snacks and her dream team up

Let’s talk about the new Nissan Super Bowl commercial “Thrill Driver” which finds you teaming up with a few familiar faces from the MCU as well as a few additional Hollywood A-Listers in an action-packed ad sure to turn heads on game day! Captain Marvel gave you your first brush with a Super Bowl spot back in 2019 with the film’s Super Bowl teaser, but how was the experience of working on your first official Super Bowl ad with Nissan?

Larson: I feel like I keep overusing this word, but it was a thrill. I mean, we just had such a great time. I have so enjoyed being in the Nissan family and this one just took it to the max. You know, we just ramped everything up.

This has action, it has humor. It also has some of my friends in it in Danai [Gurira] and David [Bautista], who I was so excited to see, and I got to meet one of my heroes, Eugene [Levy], for the first time. Usually, I do these commercials by myself, so to be able to do it with some friends this time was just a dream. So we had an awesome time making it and we’re really excited to share it.

You’ve worked with Nissan in the past for a variety of on and off-screen collaborations, but do you remember your initial reaction to this particular project? Having worked with Marvel you’re no stranger to secrecy surrounding a project, so did you initially know who all was going to be involved with the spot?

Larson: I started to get pieces. At first, I was told that they were thinking about doing a Super Bowl commercial, but even while we were filming it, building the commercial and I knew who it was in it, I didn’t tell a soul. I didn’t tell anybody, My parents don’t even know about this. I think that Marvel has just scared me to tell anybody anything anymore. [Laughs]

So I’ve just kept it to myself and I’m really excited for people to see it because I think they’re gonna be quite surprised.

The 2023 Nissan Z and 2023 Nissan Ariya join actors Eugene Levy, Danai Gurira, Dave Bautista and Catherine O’Hara in Nissan’s “Big Game” ad for Feb. 13, 2022. #THRILLDRIVER is the name of Nissan’s commercial.

You touched on this a little already, but what was it like teaming up with Eugene, Dave and Danai for the project?

Larson: I feel like they got to experience the fun and joy that I get to have doing these commercials all the time. I get to be around incredible, beautiful cars, great directors, beautiful locations and it’s just such a fun job that I’m so grateful for.

I feel like almost got to be like a host of a dinner party where I was like, “Welcome to this incredible world with all these beautiful things.” And they were all asking me questions about the various Nissans and you know which ones I had driven and which ones I liked. And it was just really fun to be able to share this experience with them.

Danai and Dave are two people that I do get to see from time to time, but not always. You know, actors don’t always get to hang out, we’re always busy and other places doing things. And so this brought us together for a couple of days and so it was just really sweet. It was a real treat.

Super Bowl commercials really are in this unique category and “Thrill Driver,” is definitely such an incredible spot that really cranks the action up to a whole other level.

Larson: Yeah, well, we knew what we’re in for. We know that this is the time to show what we’ve got. And so we’re firing on all cylinders. That’s why we have such incredible talent. That’s why we have such an incredible director. We really went for it.

And so it made for a really fun couple of days with the action, the humor, the cars. It was just a great time and we’re really excited to share it with everybody and we feel like this will really stand out.

For many people, the Super Bowl ads are almost bigger than the game. Do you gravitate more towards the game itself or the commercials?

Larson: If you’d have asked me this a couple of years ago, I would have been like I only watch for the commercials but during the pandemic I’ve gotten really into football. I’m excited for both.

I think it’s just going to mean I’m going to have my eyes glued to the TV the whole time. There is no break for me between the game and the commercials. I’m going to make sure I have all my snacks ready

Will you be rooting for a particular team this year?

Larson: We’re Seahawks fans in this house and so I’m really into the story [this Super Bowl]. I think we’ve got two teams of two incredible stories and I’m excited to see what happens. I’m not the best person to watch sports with because I do always get sad that one team has to lose.

It’s such an incredible sport that requires so much heart and so much intelligence. I’m just excited to see these players play in something that is just historical. It’s a great time, and I’m excited to be part of it in a small way.

This commercial definitely is already generating buzz and has the potential to be one of the most-talked-about commercials of the game. Do you have a favorite Super Bowl ad from over the years?

Larson: No, not in particular. I think what makes the Super Bowl so exciting is that people bring their all. It’s like the Met Ball of commercials. Everybody’s going full out to show what they’ve got and you just get this incredible amount of creativity.

So you get to watch players that are playing at the top of their field. Then in between, you get to watch little mini-movies of incredibly creative people showing what they’ve got. To me, it’s just an incredible day for humanity to harness what humans can do.

It really is one of those events that truly has something for everyone, no matter whether you’re a sports fan tuning in for the game or someone who loves the food and commercials. Speaking of food, do you have a favorite game day snack?

Larson: Chips. I eat a lot of chips and a lot of dip. I mean, that’s really my chance to like go hard. I love soft pretzels. I love nacho cheese. I go hard with all of the comfort foods and I can’t wait. I’m already planning it out in my head.

Pivoting back to “Thrill Driver,” this is of course the latest in a string of collaborations between you Nissan. After a massive commercial such as “Thrill Driver,” the sky seems like the limit so I have to ask, what’s next?

Larson: As you can see, we’re just getting started. The thing that’s been so fun about working with Nissan is that we just want to keep surprising people. Every commercial should feel completely different. We don’t want this to be something that when it comes on, you know what’s going to happen or you’re like “Eh, one of those things again.”

We’re just going to continue to top ourselves and bring ads that are fun to watch and are entertaining and are worth your time. This one is obviously like a huge one for us that we’re really excited about. We’ve got some good things cooking and there’s more to come.

After a spot like “Thrill Driver,” have you had any thoughts about who you’d love to team up with next in any future Nissan spots?

Larson: I mean, I just always want to work with Sam Jackson. So if I can get Sam to do anything with me and spend time with me, that’s what I want. So he’s always my number one.

The Toy Story franchise is a cultural behemoth. It was 1995 that saw the release of the first instalment, the first feature film under the Pixar brand and the first entirely computer-animated feature film. Genuinely groundbreaking and a resounding success, Toy Story set a precedent for all animated films moving forward and set the bar high for Pixar for future releases, and to much surprise, they would maintain this standard until the end of the 2000s.

There were many elements that made Toy Story so iconic. Be it Randy Newman‘s classic theme tune ‘You’ve Got a Friend in Me’, the actors or the script, it’s a bonafide classic, and is one that generations will love after our own. However, the most unmistakable facet of Toy Story has to be the characters. Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep, Mr. Potato Head, Rex, Slinky Dog, the list of iconic characters is endless

Undoubtedly though, the two that stick out among the rest are Woody, played by Tom Hanks, and Buzz Lightyear, played by Tim Allen. Two rivals who become great friends, their tale is one of the most important in the Pixar filmography. It so transpires that Woody has an interesting backstory that may shock fans of the series.

Although Woody is one of Hanks’ most memorable characters, often, Woody isn’t actually played by Hanks. Being so busy, as any Oscar-winning actor would be, for the spin-off Toy Story material, it is his “favourite deputy”, his brother Jim, who steps in for the role.

The secret was first revealed when Graham Norton brought it up back in 2011. Wanting to get to the bottom of the urban myth, Norton had a Woody doll, and pulled the string. Afterwards, he asked Hanks if this was his voice or not. The veteran actor responded: “No, it’s my brother Jim. There are so many computer games and video things and Jim just works on those all year long”.

That’s right, in pretty much every piece of Toy Story canon aside from the main films, it has been Jim Hanks providing the voice of Woody. Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time that he’d provided support for his older brother. During the filming of 1994’s Forrest Gump, Jim Hanks was the body double for Tom.

Even though Jim Hanks has made something of a career from being Woody, he’s also an actor himself, and it wouldn’t be just to reduce him to simply Tom Hanks’ stand-in. Jim has enjoyed a prolific career as an actor and director of his own. Next time you come across a piece of Toy Story merchandise, just remember that’s not Tom Hanks you’re hearing.

When Disney dropped the trailer for its forthcoming 101 Dalmatians origins story Cruella in February, the internet went into something of a meltdown. The trailer, it was quickly noted, bore a distinct similarity to the one for Todd Phillips’s 2019 smash Joker.

There were the hints of a tormented past resulting in the villain we know and love (to hate) today; the first person voiceover detailing the protagonist’s wickedness; snapshots of the nemeses that tipped our anti-heroes over the edge (Baroness Von Hellman for Cruella, Thomas Wayne for the Joker); a soundtrack from the golden era of 1950s crooning (Connie Francis’s Who’s Sorry Now for Cruella vs Charlie Chaplin’s Smile); and an overriding sense that we were going to learn a lot more about the titular characters than we ever would while they were playing second fiddle to the heroes of the movies we have seen them in before.

The hashtag #DisneysJoker was soon trending, but is this really a fair comparison? There’s no doubting Cruella delves into territory a little darker than we might expect from a Disney live-action spin-off. It has even received a PG-13 rating in the US, only the second of Disney’s recent clutch of live-action remakes to enter such “adult” territory, following Mulan. But it’s still not in the R-rated world of Joker. Cruella, after all, is the story of a narcissistic aristocrat with a penchant for dog-fur coats, while Joker tells of a psychopathic maniac hellbent on global destruction, while packed with tales of abuse and torture that would never come close to PG-13 territory.

It’s definitely dark for a Disney movie. Maybe not for a really intense R-rated film, but it was darker than I’ve seen a Disney movie for a good long time

Paul Walter Hauser, who plays Cruella’s henchman Horace in the new film, concludes that sometimes the internet just likes easy comparisons. “People like to find one quick way to describe something, and it becomes catchy and suddenly people are agreeing with it without even knowing what they’re talking about – that’s just Twitter,” the actor laments. “The Joker comparison is kind of lazy. I’d like to be compared to it by way of fostering cool conversations and making a ton of money, that would be cool, but I think that the comparisons end there.”

Actress Emma Stone, who plays Cruella herself, agrees the Joker comparisons are over the top, though she is pleased with the film’s undeniably dark edge. “[Disney] really let Craig [Gillespie, director] and Tony [McNamara, screenplay] write and make what they wanted to make,” she says. “It’s definitely dark for a Disney movie. Maybe not for a really intense R-rated film, but it was darker than I’ve seen a Disney movie for a good long time.”

Stone’s co-star Emma Thompson, a veteran of British period dramas like Howard’s End and Sense and Sensibility, also seems to have enjoyed the opportunity to go a little closer to the dark side in her latest role as the movie’s true villain, the Baroness Von Hellman.

“I had such fun doing her, because I’ve been asking for quite a number of years if I could be a villain, a proper villain,” she says. “I spent decades playing what my mother used to call ‘good women in frocks’, and now I got to play a really evil woman in frocks.”

The lauded thespian appears to have taken her newfound love for evil off-set as well, as she jokingly admits to attempting to have her co-star, Wink the dog, fired from the movie for stealing her spotlight. “I told stories. I said he’d come and widdled on one of my costumes, and nobody believed me. They just knew I was lying and that it was just a vicious attempt to get rid of this dog that was, frankly, upstaging me and getting in my light,” she says with a laugh. “The dog was an obstacle.”

I think Disney is figuring out how to put creative people in the driver’s seat of an intellectual property vehicle, and … do something really interesting with it

What is perhaps most surprising about the film, however, is not how Disney dabbled in darkness for the origins story of this classic animated villain, but how much love we have for her by the end of the film. In both the 1961 animation and the two live-action remakes from the ’90s, featuring Glenn Close as the haute couture-laden harridan, there’s little doubt as to the evilness of Cruella. In Cruella, however, the character begins as nothing more than naughty schoolgirl Estella (played by Tipper Seifert-Cleveland in the film’s early scenes), and becomes the likeable-but-oppressed aspiring fashion designer in the Baroness’s 1970s London design house.

Her adoption of the Cruella mantle is not just an alter ego with which to fight the Baroness, but a part of her effort to shake up the staid culture of the era. The parallels to enfant terrible Vivienne Westwood and the punk rock movement are unavoidable – and signposted in both the fashions and soundtrack – and quite laudable.

Cruella can deliver some low blows, but they’re all designed to defeat the infinitely more wicked Baroness, whose crimes are far greater. It’s not the darker tone that could alienate audiences from the source material, but the fact we end up rooting for this previously detested character.

Hauser seems unconcerned about the apparent redrawing of his fictional mistress’s moral compass, however. “We’ve got to start twisting and contorting these timelines and these materials or we’re not going to have any movies left,” he says.

“Hollywood doesn’t invite many wholly original films – a movie like Little Miss Sunshine is very hard to get made, whereas a movie like Superman or Batman is not as hard to get made.

“I think Disney is figuring out how to put creative people in the driver’s seat of an intellectual property vehicle, and let them drive their way and do something really interesting with it. And I think Cruella is the best example I’ve seen in several years of Disney letting somebody take the reins creatively and do something totally new with something that we’ve seen before.

“I really hope that people get to enjoy the full breadth of creativity of Cruella.”

Cruella is in UAE cinemas from Thursday

He originally gained attention for his role as Mouse Alexander in the film ‘Devil in a Blue Dress,’ for which he won the Los Angeles Film Critics Association’s Best Supporting Actor award. He co-produced and appeared in the Oscar-winning Best Picture ‘Crash,’ as well as portraying Paul Rusesabagina in the film ‘Hotel Rwanda,’ for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. Cheadle has also worked with the United Nations to address concerns about climate change and the genocides in Darfur and Rwanda, in addition to acting.

He and campaigner John Prendergast co-authored the book ‘Not on Our Watch: The Mission to End Genocide in Darfur and Beyond,’ and he co-founded the ‘Not On Our Watch Project,’ which focuses global attention against mass atrocities on humanity. How did Don Cheadle earn his net worth?

Though the majority of Cheadle’s movie salary is kept under wraps, there are a few hints as to how much money he earns. Cheadle took over the MCU from Terrence Howard, who played War Machine in the first Iron Man film and was paid a whopping $4.5 million. Cheadle has appeared in six MCU films, and his position in the franchise has grown with each subsequent film. And, given the increasing box office success of the films, culminating in Avengers: Endgame’s nearly $2.8 billion worldwide gross, it’s logical to believe that Cheadle’s salary would have continued to rise. Cheadle’s involvement in the MCU isn’t the only multibillion-dollar franchise he’s a part of.

Before the all-female reboot in 2018, the actor appeared in all three Ocean’s films alongside Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Cheadle has made money not only through main parts in dramas and acting in blockbuster films but also from his work as a producer, most notably on Crash. The Best Picture winner from 2004 went on to gross more than $100 million worldwide. Because the budget was only $6 million, this is an even bigger success than you may imagine. The crash made nearly 15 times its budget, which in Hollywood is almost unheard of.

Don Cheadle’s Childhood and Education:

Donald Frank Cheadle Jr was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to Bettye and Donald Frank Cheadle Sr. on November 29, 1964. Cheadle’s proud father was a clinical psychologist, and his mother was a teacher. Cindy and Colin are his two siblings. Cheadle loved music and had been a member of his school choir since he was a child. During his early years, Cheadle traveled much with his family. From 1970 to 1974, he attended Hartley Elementary School in Lincoln, Nebraska, and graduated from East High School in Denver, Colorado, in 1982.

LEGENDARY Star Wars actor Mark Hamill has sent a message of support to Janey Godley – after a “vile” and “despicable” attack advert from the Scottish Tories aimed at the comedian.

Godley said her year had been made thanks by the show of solidarity from Hamill, who has 4.8 million followers on Twitter where he made the remark.

SNP MSP James Dornan is among those to have called for Douglas Ross (below) to apologise over an advert made up as a mock “contract” for someone to star in a public health campaign posted on his party’s Twitter account.

It read: “The First Minister chose to make her nationalist friend the face of a crucial public health campaign despite admitting she was seen as a partisan political figure.

“When will @NicolaSturgeon apologise for this irresponsible decision?”

The reference was to Godley’s previous appearances in a Scottish Government Covid-19 public health campaign, for which she was paid £10,000.

Godley was pulled from the campaign in September 2021 after past tweets she had sent resurfaced, for which she apologised unreservedly.

The Scottish Tory post received a fierce backlash, coming as Godley battles ovarian cancer.

She announced her diagnosis late last year and has since had a successful operation. The Glasgow comic is undergoing chemotherapy.

Luke Skywalker himself intervened as Godley has faced waves of abuse from Unionists and Conservatives on Twitter.

She tweeted yesterday: “Today has been tough, staying focussed on my well being and trying to make sure the chemo isn’t affecting my mental health too much. Thanks everyone for sending me love today”

In reply to that, Hamill wrote simply: “For Janey: ❤️”

Responding to a Twitter user who said it must have made Godley’s “Day. Week. Year.”, she said: “Indeed.”

Godley added: “Thank you Mark, everyone has been so bloody amazing and supportive ❤️”

SNP MSP Karen Adam praised Hamill, who is also a noted voice actor, saying: “What a lovely thing to do. 🥰”

An SNP source has previously described the Scottish Tory tweet as “utterly despicable and lacking in humanity”.

It has been liked or retweeted by Scottish Tories including Miles Briggs, Alexander Burnett, Douglas Lumsden, Russell Findlay and Meghan Gallacher.

Dornan (below) said the post was a “new low” for the Tories, given Godley’s health.

The National: James Dornan will no longer contest the post in order to launch a campaign against sectarianism

He said: “If Douglas Ross has a shred of decency he would be publicly apologising for this deeply insensitive attack and for causing additional distress to a seriously ill woman.

“Ross must explain if he authorised such an obviously despicable campaign, order that the offensive post be deleted and discipline every one of his team who promoted or liked it.

“The Tory frontbench really has no shame. Russell Findlay, who is being promoted as the face of Ross’s party, describes himself as shadow community safety minister and justice committee deputy convener. What part of safety or justice is he promoting with vile tweets like this?

“And Meghan Gallacher should explain why she considered the offensive tweet worthy of three laughing emojis. She is supposed to be a spokesperson on children and young people. What sort of example does she think this sets to them?

“Douglas Ross has tried to distance himself from his Westminster colleagues – and the nastiness of Boris Johnson’s vile Jimmy Savile smears – but this grossly insensitive attack on a seriously ill woman demonstrates the Scottish Tories are cut from the same nasty cloth. There is not a gutter to which they will not descend.

“There is no place in Scotland’s political discourse for the weaponizing of anyone’s illness in an offensive and misguided attempt to score political points. The behaviour of all those senior Tories is shameful and they should all apologise individually.”

It’s do-or-die time for the Oscars to recapture the glory days of the ceremony when more than 50 million people were watching emcees like Billy Crystal, Chris Rock and the foursome of 1983 that included Walter Matthau, Liza Minnelli, Dudley Moore and Richard Pryor. With Will Packer producing the telecast for the first time, he’s said to have an exciting vision that can only be executed with a fresh, new host. So, who should the Academy tap?

WHO?: Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short

WHY?: Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” stars bridge all generations that the Academy needs to elevate its brand. You get the Gen Y and Z crowds and Latinos feeling seen with Gomez, and the OG die-hard fans of the Academy will have a past beloved host like Martin, who’s emceed three times. Short would be getting his first swing at the Oscar ball.

WHO?: Awkwafina and Tiffany Haddish

WHY?: The two actresses and comedians are incredibly talented. Awkwafina brought the laughs in “Crazy Rich Asians” while Haddish has worked with Packer previously on “Girls Trip,” winning the supporting actress award from the New York Film Critics Circle. With the right material, they could blow the doors off the Dolby Theatre with their boisterous energy and pizzazz.

WHO?: Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz

WHY?: The dynamic duo, best known for their utterly improvised act that streamed on Netflix, have the chemistry and talent to push the envelope for the Academy, but not so much that it makes people feel uncomfortable. Prepared material will be key, but the two can also handle off-the-cuff moments, which might lead to such viewer-friendly stunts as Ellen DeGeneres taking a selfie in the audience.

WHO?: The Lonely Island & Tim Robinson

WHY?: Let’s be clear. The Academy should tap the rap parody trio (Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer) behind “Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping” and the star of the hilarious “I Think You Should Leave” on Netflix only if it allows them to bring their quintessential comedy routines, which aren’t always family friendly. On the other hand, if the Oscars heed the advice and decide to simulcast on Disney Plus or Hulu, they could see a massive bump across all demographics, with some raunchier moments brought to the ceremony.

On the other hand, if the Oscars heed the advice and decide to simulcast on Disney Plus or Hulu, they could see a massive bump across all demographics, with some raunchier moments brought to the ceremony.
