Former WWE wrestler David Otunga reportedly has been given temporary custody of his son with his ex-fiancee, Grammy Award-winning singer Jennifer Hudson.
TMZ.com said Otunga, 37, and Hudson, 36, had reached a temporary custodial agreement in their contentious battle over 8-year-old David Daniel Otunga Jr.
Hudson’s representative had told People magazine in a statement Nov. 16 that after 10 years together, the couple had “been in the process of ending their relationship for a number of months.” The rep added, “Jennifer requested and received a protective order against her ex-fiance. Jennifer’s actions are solely taken in the best interest of their son.”
Hudson, a mentor/coach on the NBC singing competition “The Voice,” has also been serving in that capacity on the show’s U.K. edition, necessitating frequent travel to London. Because of the singer’s heavy schedule generally, Otunga has been their son’s primary caregiver over the years, TMZ said.
Hudson later dropped the restraining order, with a judge in Cook County, Illinois, where the family lives, approving her motion to do so, reported TheBlast.com.
In her request for a restraining order, Hudson had said, “I am afraid that D. Otunga will continue to physically intimidate and abuse me. Next month, the Biden White House’s Board of Advisors on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) will be sworn in. The 20-person board currently includes HBCU presidents and alumni, executives, an HBCU student, NBA All-Star Chris Paul — and award-winning actress Taraji P. Henson.
TheGrio caught up exclusively with Henson while the soon-to-be sworn-in board member was in Atlanta, Georgia, filming the adaptation of The Color Purple. The 51-year-old Washington, D.C. native and graduate of Howard University is playing the role of Shug Avery.
Henson said it is an “honor“ to have been asked to sit on the prestigious board and that she takes her latest role seriously as she understands more than most the value and needs of HBCUs. Henson, who became pregnant with her son during her junior year at Howard, graduated from the university in 1995 with a degree in theatre arts.

“I think because they see that I am a product of an HBCU and my activism in the community, I guess that combination seemed like someone who would want to be on the board, and I am HBCU from the heart,” said the actress who has starred in films like Baby Boy, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Hustleand Flow and the popular series Empire.
Henson’s activism will be prominent in her work on the White House Board of Advisors on HBCUs, she told theGrio. “I want to bring the student voices to the table…I’m there as their liaison,” she said.
Henson referenced last year’s campus protests at her alma mater, where students boycotted class and demanded better living conditions in dormitories, among other campus grievances. “The upkeep was horrible,” Henson said.
Eventually, the protests ended, and the university reached an agreement with student activists and their legal representation.
In a statement provided to theGrio, President Frederick expressed support for Henson’s appointment. “As an alumna of Howard University, her intimate knowledge of the HBCU experience will allow her to bring a unique and relevant perspective to the advisory board at an important time in our nation’s history,” he said.
Henson said it’s important for her to use her celebrity and role on the board to do more for HBCUs than simply “retweet” posts on Instagram. “I’m in a position now where I can tap on the shoulders,” she said. She noted that the Biden-Harris administration has already provided $5.8 billion to HBCUs since January 2021 in grant funding and federal investments from the American Rescue Plan and more.

Dr. Tony Allen, Chair of the president’s HBCU Board of Advisors and President of Delaware State University, acknowledged, “Having already invested an unprecedented $5.8 billion in our institutions, the President, the Vice President, and the entire Biden administration have been clear on their dedication to HBCUs in word and deed. And they are just beginning.”
Henson will also spotlight mental health, which has become her passion beyond the glitz and glamour of Hollywood over the years. This past February, a series of bomb threats on the campuses of more than 20 HBCUs caused a lot of angst and anxiety for students, faculty, and staff.
“Mental health is very important…I’m going to make sure that we have the resources that we need on every campus of the HBCUs. And we need those resources. And now we see why those resources are very important. And it’s deeper than just a counselor,” said Henson.
During the 15-minute interview on Zoom, Henson resembled a schoolgirl as she donned a baseball cap while still allowing her natural curls to shine through. Henson, who owns a hair and body care line called TPH by Taraji Henson, said she plans to bring her authenticity to the table.

That authentic nature is captivating for supporters of her White House appointment like Lodriguez Murray, senior vice president of public policy and government affairs at United Negro College Fund.
“Ms. Henson, as a proud Howard graduate, brings the special qualities of authenticity and deep commitment to stage and screen, and we do believe those attributes will serve her and our HBCUs well,” said Murray.
“She has access to pockets of our society and influence that will assist the board’s efforts to advance and promote educational equity, HBCU excellence, and economic opportunities for graduates and Black Americans as a whole,” said Dr. Glenda Glover, Vice-Chair of the White House HBCU advisory board.
The White House Board of Advisors on HBCUs, which has also been known as the White House Initiative on HBCUs, was created through an executive order in 1980 during the administration of President Jimmy Carter. According to The White House, the board is meant to increase the capacity of HBCUs to provide the highest-quality education to its students and continue serving as engines of opportunity.

The 105 or so HBCUs, many founded during slavery, have built a reputation for propelling Black Americans into the middle class and developing them into model citizens who contribute to the nation’s social and economic fabric.
HBCUs boast titans in their respective industries like businessman, publisher and founder of Black Enterprise Earl Graves, entertainers like Samuel L. Jackson, Spike Lee and Chadwick Boseman, playwright David E. Talbert, and countless others. The most luminary HBCU graduates are arguably the civil rights icon, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Henson noted that an HBCU experience and education are invaluable. The actress recalled her experience in the public school system, where she was taught about historical figures like Christopher Columbus or historical events like the Holocaust. However, lessons about slavery or Black historical figures like Harriet Tubman and Dr. King, she said, were taught only “briefly.”

NEW YORK — “So, nu?” you ask. Does Beanie Feldstein pull it off?
The question has been hanging over Broadway for weeks, as previews got underway of “Funny Girl,” the musical that, for 58 years, has been thought of as the exclusive property of Barbra Streisand. And for good reason: Streisand’s Fanny Brice, unveiled onstage in 1964 and immortalized in an Oscar-winning turn on film four years later, may be the most captivating musical-theater portrayal ever recorded.
It has taken guts for Feldstein to step into those proverbial shoes and sing and dance in them onstage at the August Wilson Theatre, where director Michael Mayer’s splashy Broadway revival, the first, had its official opening Sunday night. (On Streisand’s 80th birthday, no less.) One admires the pluck — an essential attribute when playing a character whose introductory number is titled “I’m the Greatest Star.” Rather than incandescent, though, Feldstein’s star turn is an earthbound achievement, best when she’s executing the comedy aspect of musical comedy, and less compelling at the music part. A better fit was her Minnie Fay in the “Hello, Dolly!” revival that starred Bette Midler.
Not bad by any measure, I must add: Her vocal skills are adequate. In a workmanlike vehicle built as a galvanizing showcase for its title character, though, you want to be taken for a ride that leaves you dizzy with the acceleration of such songs as “People” and “Don’t Rain on My Parade.” That’s simply the expectation “Funny Girl” sets up, and it’s also simply the case that, no matter how ardently we root for the endearing Feldstein — and we certainly do — that ignition never fully occurs.
So maybe, if you can lower your sights, you’ll find Mayer’s “Funny Girl” to be a pleasant diversion, an entertaining throwback to the heyday of musicals with lavish sets and costumes and show tunes that Mom and Dad (or Grandma and Granddad) cued up nightly on the stereo. This production accomplishes that, with the input of actors including Jane Lynch, a thoroughgoing delight as Brice’s mother — I’m coming to the conclusion that there’s nothing Lynch can’t do — and Jared Grimes as a tap-dancing whiz and Brice’s impossibly faithful friend, Eddie.
Speaking of impossible, Ramin Karimloo is on hand as Nicky Arnstein, the dreamboat who knocks Brice’s bloomers off. In Harvey Fierstein’s new revisions of Isobel Lennart’s original book for the show, Karimloo gets more to do, especially in applying his velvety baritone to added songs in a Jule Styne-Bob Merrill score — a song list that varies significantly from the 1968 movie. Arnstein, a poker player by trade, here gets his own socko second-act solo, the new “Temporary Arrangement,” that’s staged like a number out of “Guys and Dolls,” with a chorus of dancing gangsters.
‘Funny Girl’s’ new Nicky Arnstein
Yet, even with the tinkering, Arnstein remains a second-tier stock character in a backstage bio-musical focusing on Brice’s rise in the 1920s to comic beacon in the extravaganzas of Florenz Ziegfeld (Peter Francis James, radiating class). The recurring jokes about the disparity in physical beauty between Arnstein and Brice have never struck me as particularly funny. “To tell the truth, it hurt my pride, the groom was prettier than the bride” is a clever lyric (in Feldstein’s “Sadie, Sadie”), but the repeated stress on the theme steals any serious exploration from their relationship. As a result, “Funny Girl” feels as superficial as those gauzy Ziegfeld numbers, expertly choreographed by Ellenore Scott and tap choreographer Ayodele Casel.
Outfitted in progressively more luscious frocks by Susan Hilferty, Feldstein makes a journey from nervy tyro to nervier pro. David Zinn contributes a smart set design, with a central, rounded brick apartment building whose walls part to reveal street scenes, hotel suites and showgirl-filled stages. Comparisons are anathema, sure, but they’re instructive in gauging the effect of Feldstein’s performance amid all the theatrical refinements. While, for instance, you believed outright that Streisand was a star, with Feldstein, your foremost belief is that she believes she’s a star. It’s a distinction with a difference, in that, with this latest Fanny Brice, that powerhouse illusion at times requires more cooperative effort from the audience.
Some useful internal electricity does get switched on in Feldstein for the Follies production numbers, which constitute her best moments. She’s an adorably winning clown in “His Love Makes Me Beautiful,” the song that Brice sabotages out of insecurity over her looks (that theme again). In Act 2′s “Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat,” a silly Follies salute to the armed forces, Feldstein emerges in uniform, goofy glasses, thick Yiddish accent and a pair of bagels on her belt. Pointing to her nosh-able arsenal, Feldstein delivers the punchline perfectly. “Onion or poppy seed?” she asks.
Given the pedigree of the brassy “Don’t Rain on My Parade” — one of those killer damn-the-torpedoes anthems that reliably raise heart rates — Feldstein has the immense task of sending the audience into intermission on a literal high note. She sings her heart out, and if it were just heart that was called for, she’d be a Fanny Brice for the ages.

Universal Pictures has announced the U.S. release date for the forthcoming Marc Meyers-directed All My Life. the romantic drama starring Harry Shum Jr. and Jessica Rothe will open wide on December 4. Universal previously announced that the film will debut in the UK on October 23.
Based on the true story of Solomon Chau and Jennifer Carter, All My Life follows their story featuring Shum as Solomon and Rothe as Jennifer. They are a sweet, fun-loving, newly engaged couple whose whole life seems ahead of them. But when Sol is diagnosed with terminal liver cancer in December, their plans for a summer wedding become impossible.
In a race against time, Jenn and Sol’s friends and family launch an online fundraiser to help the couple create their dream wedding in just two weeks. In the process, they unleash an outpouring of generosity and attention from people around the world who want to celebrate the power of love with them.
That said, get ready to reach for the tissues with this one.

The Barbie movie was originally set to be rewritten by Diablo Cody with Amy Schumer in the lead role. After the writer departed from the project, Cody opened up about the complications that came with trying to bring the iteration to life.
“I never even produced an initial draft. I failed so hard at that project. I was literally incapable of writing a Barbie script. God knows I tried,” the Jennifer’s Body screenwriter told Screen Crush in 2018. “To be honest, the timeline coincided with my writing Tully. I was really overwhelmed at the time, and I think I was really only capable of reaching in and pulling out something super personal. Look, I think the idea of a Barbie movie is super f–king cool and I hope something goes in there and kills it.”
Months after Schumer’s casting was announced, the comedian also dropped out, citing scheduling conflicts. The New York native later clarified that there were creative differences that halted her participation.
“They definitely didn’t want to do it the way I wanted to do it, the only way I was interested in doing it,” Schumer told The Hollywood Reporter in March 2022, noting that she wanted the character to be an “ambitious inventor” but it was turned down.
The Last Comic Standing alum alleged that the plan was for Barbie to invent high heels made of Jell-O. “I felt like I was disappointing my team by not being Barbie,” Schumer admitted at the time. “The idea that that’s just what every woman must want, right there, I should have gone, ‘You’ve got the wrong gal.’”
Following Schumer’s exit, Margot Robbie took over the role of Barbie. Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach later joined to pen the script and work behind the camera to bring the story to life.
Ahead of production, Robbie teased during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2020 that Barbie will be “the thing you didn’t know you wanted.”

A major Hollywood feature starring Tom Hanks will be shooting in Niagara County for one day next week.
But no one is saying whether the two-time Oscar winner will be here.
Buffalo Niagara Film Office commissioner Tim Clark declined to comment on specifics about the film but could confirm that there is a “large movie” shooting here next week, adding that it will be a closed set without public access. Local crew and extras are being hired for the one-day shoot. Information on being an extra can be found through Casting Buffalo at castingbuffalo.com; deadline is May 1.
“It is great for the economy and shows that Western New York continues to be a Hollywood backdrop,” Clark said.
The film is “A Man Called Otto,” a remake of the 2015 Swedish film “A Man Called Ove.” The feature also stars comedian and actor Mike Birbiglia (“Trainwreck”), Cameron Britton (“Mindhunter”), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (“The Magnificent Seven”) and Mariana Trevino. It is directed by Marc Forster (“World War Z”) and began shooting in Pittsburgh in February.

A major Hollywood feature starring Tom Hanks will be shooting in Niagara County for one day next week.
But no one is saying whether the two-time Oscar winner will be here.
Buffalo Niagara Film Office commissioner Tim Clark declined to comment on specifics about the film but could confirm that there is a “large movie” shooting here next week, adding that it will be a closed set without public access. Local crew and extras are being hired for the one-day shoot. Information on being an extra can be found through Casting Buffalo at castingbuffalo.com; deadline is May 1.
“It is great for the economy and shows that Western New York continues to be a Hollywood backdrop,” Clark said.
The film is “A Man Called Otto,” a remake of the 2015 Swedish film “A Man Called Ove.” The feature also stars comedian and actor Mike Birbiglia (“Trainwreck”), Cameron Britton (“Mindhunter”), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (“The Magnificent Seven”) and Mariana Trevino. It is directed by Marc Forster (“World War Z”) and began shooting in Pittsburgh in February.

When we see Sylvia again in the second part of Season 7, in an elevator with her husband, Don and Diana, it’s obvious that the dalliance had effects on her marriage—but also that life more or less went on for both of them.
We caught up with Linda Cardellini ahead of the finale to talk about the end of Mad Men.
TIME: What was your favorite scene to shoot on Mad Men?
Linda Cardellini: The hotel stuff, when he locks me in the hotel—that was really fun to shoot because it was so out of the norm for both of them. John Slattery was the director, and I knew him from working on a film called Return. He was one of the only people I knew when I came to Mad Men. He’s smart and funny and kind, and he’s a great actor and he’s a good director too. I definitely felt more vulnerable doing that episode—except for when Sally is supposed to walk in on the two of them, I think those are two of the most vulnerable scenes. One of my favorite scenes, too, is with the phone call to Don before he helps Mitchell.
Was Jon Hamm actually talking to you during that scene?
Yeah, he is literally talking to me. Sometimes in the room, sometimes on the line, but you’re never on your own.
In the episode where Sylvia is waiting for Don in a hotel room, she reads The Last Picture Show. Did you read it while you were working on the scene?
Oh, I was definitely reading it while I could. Larry McMurtry is one of my favorite writers—he wrote Lonesome Dove, so it came full circle for me.
Did Matt Weiner have a meeting with you as you started on what he had in mind for Sylvia?
Yeah, he did. I think I had one line at the end of the first episode I was in, and he said, “Don’t worry—great things are coming.” So from then on, I trusted him. But we talked a lot about Sylvia. Every chance I could get I would ask him questions to discover who she was.
How does it work to audition for a character like that when Weiner is so secretive about what happens?
You audition with scenes and sides that have nothing to do with, and give away nothing about, your character.
And the scenes never end up on the show?
Not in the way you thought of. Not in the way you prepared them or read them.
I love that your character is a vessel for the show to deal with the theme of religion. Was that interesting for you?
Definitely. Her cross on her neck was something that she always wore. She’s very judgmental with Megan when Megan thought she was pregnant—it just goes to show what a hypocrite she can be.
Did you grow up with religion?
Yeah, I grew up Catholic.
Did you know anybody like this character?
I think everybody knows people who pretend to be one thing and are something else. I don’t know that it necessarily is something that’s just about religion, I think that happens with people in general. People lie. People are disloyal. It’s funny, because it’s something that we deal with in Bloodline as well. The catchphrase for that is, “We’re not bad people, but we did a bad thing.” I feel like that’s something Sylvia feels, too. I don’t know if she necessarily thinks she’s a bad person. At times she grapples with herself, but she gets over it and moves forward.
Is there a character you wish Sylvia could have interacted with?
No—I love the way that she’s separate from the rest of Don’s world.
But surely there are actors you must have wanted to work with.
Oh sure, I’m a huge fan. I’d already worked with Jon, and I worked with Vincent [Kartheiser] when I was younger, too, in a movie with Andy Garcia called The Unsaid. But I would have loved to work with Peggy or Joan or Betty—they’re just such great characters.
What are your plans for viewing the finale?
I just want to watch it somewhere where it’s quiet and I don’t miss anything! I’m so excited to see the end of it. When I was on the show, even the episodes that I wasn’t in, they invited me to the table reads, and I didn’t want to go, because I love the element of surprise. You’ve been with the characters for so long, you feel like you know them, and to be able to see what’s going to unfold for them—I want to be surprised.

Rebel Wilson has been on quite the journey since declaring 2020 her “year of health,” and she’s opening up about how she’s doing two years later. In addition to feeling better physically, she’s also brimming with confidence and excitement for the future, according to a new interview with Yahoo! Life. “I do feel the best I’ve ever felt,” Wilson told the publication. “It’s not just about how I look on the outside, but kind of how I feel about myself.” Although, she was clear that she’s always possessed confidence. “I do think beauty is in all shapes,” she said in the interview. “There were times when I rocked the red carpet in a size 18, size 20, and you could tell by the pictures, I was really confident and loving myself. But I knew secretly that I was engaging in some unhealthy eating behaviors, and that’s what I wanted to work on.”
Since 2020, Wilson has reached her goal weight, sharing pieces of her journey along the way. She’s been vocal about her love of walking, posted videos of a surf lesson, and even showed off an intense tire flipping workout on Instagram. The Bridesmaids alum also previously revealed that her weight loss helped her reduce inflammation that she didn’t even realize she had.
“So now, because I am a healthier person, that shines through. A lot of my friends say that even though I was confident before, I have a newfound confidence,” she said in the Yahoo! Life interview.
That confidence seems to be visible in Wilson’s recent work. The Aussie native has expanded her professional horizons from her usual goofy roles (though she still loves those, as evidenced by her upcoming Netflix comedy Senior Year) to include serious dramas, such as the upcoming film The Almond and The Seahorse. The shift is notable since she previously revealed that not everyone in her life was supportive of her health goals, fearing she wouldn’t be cast as “the funny fat girl” anymore — and now she’s loving the new roles she’s taken on.
“When I was heavier, it was kind of like a barrier,” she said in the recent interview. “In some ways, that barrier protected me from things, but now that it’s gone, I’m much rawer as a person. It’s had an unexpected benefit of helping my acting, because I’ve not got anything protecting me, I’m raw. I’m just weirdly a much better actress, and I never thought that would be a side benefit.”
That rawness extends to her life off-screen as well. Wilson said she’s no longer apologizing for who she is or what she wants to do, whether in her professional or personal life.
“Now that I’m in my 40s, what I’m most unapologetic about is the times when I’m ‘feral,'” she said in the recent interview, explaining that ‘feral’ is an Australian word meaning “not put together” (aka when your hair is a mess and you’re not wearing makeup). “I’m just coming into my own power in a way, so I can be like, ‘Oh, is that something I really want to do or not?’ And if not, so be it.”

In ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,’ Oscar Isaac called Spider-Man 2099 ‘a serious Spider-Man’
Whether it’s Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, or Tom Holland under the mask, Spider-Man’s sharp tongue comes as a defining feature.
However, that’s not the case for Oscar Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099 in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

“It’s been really fun working on that with Phil Lord and Kemp Powers,” Isaac told ScreenRant. “The thing I can say is, what makes this character so funny is that he’s the one Spider-Man that doesn’t have a sense of humor. Because all of them act like — they’re like wisecracks, right? Everybody wisecracks, except this guy just doesn’t. He’s a very serious Spider-Man.”
Oscar Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099 could have similarities to Nicholas Cage’s Spider-Man Noir
A spider-hero with no sense of humor also brings memories of Spider-Man Noir (Nicholas Cage) from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The black and white 1930s crimefighter ironically stood out as one of the more hilarious Spider Gang members because of his lack of humor.
If Oscar Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099 strikes a similar tone in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, he could quickly become a fan favorite. And he’s had practice in more serious roles, like in Moon Knight.
Unlike the other spider-people receiving their powers from spider bites, Miguel O’Hara worked as a geneticist until he took a drink laced with an addictive drug. The cure he tried resulted in spider powers.
“A serious Spider-Man” definitely aligns with the more intense origin story. Spider-Man comics have tackled drug issues before, namely through Harry Osborn and his descent into becoming the Green Goblin after the death of Norman Osborn.
However, focusing on the hero taking an addictive drug can add a whole new level of intensity.
When does ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ come to theaters?
While Sony Pictures has already dropped the first trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part I, fans still need to wait a bit longer to see the “serious Spider-Man” 2099 that Oscar Isaac brings to the Marvel multiverse.

And another newcomer will join Isaac’s hero. Sony cast Issa Rae to voice Jessica Drew in the animated Spider-Man movie. Jessica Drew is one of the most well-known civilian identities of Spider-Woman. A superhero who’s taken on HYDRA and motherhood, she’ll be an exciting addition to the cast.
Meanwhile, the sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part II, has been slated for March 29, 2024.

In ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,’ Oscar Isaac called Spider-Man 2099 ‘a serious Spider-Man’
Whether it’s Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, or Tom Holland under the mask, Spider-Man’s sharp tongue comes as a defining feature.
However, that’s not the case for Oscar Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099 in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

“It’s been really fun working on that with Phil Lord and Kemp Powers,” Isaac told ScreenRant. “The thing I can say is, what makes this character so funny is that he’s the one Spider-Man that doesn’t have a sense of humor. Because all of them act like — they’re like wisecracks, right? Everybody wisecracks, except this guy just doesn’t. He’s a very serious Spider-Man.”
Oscar Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099 could have similarities to Nicholas Cage’s Spider-Man Noir
A spider-hero with no sense of humor also brings memories of Spider-Man Noir (Nicholas Cage) from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The black and white 1930s crimefighter ironically stood out as one of the more hilarious Spider Gang members because of his lack of humor.
If Oscar Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099 strikes a similar tone in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, he could quickly become a fan favorite. And he’s had practice in more serious roles, like in Moon Knight.
Unlike the other spider-people receiving their powers from spider bites, Miguel O’Hara worked as a geneticist until he took a drink laced with an addictive drug. The cure he tried resulted in spider powers.
“A serious Spider-Man” definitely aligns with the more intense origin story. Spider-Man comics have tackled drug issues before, namely through Harry Osborn and his descent into becoming the Green Goblin after the death of Norman Osborn.
However, focusing on the hero taking an addictive drug can add a whole new level of intensity.
When does ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ come to theaters?
While Sony Pictures has already dropped the first trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part I, fans still need to wait a bit longer to see the “serious Spider-Man” 2099 that Oscar Isaac brings to the Marvel multiverse.

And another newcomer will join Isaac’s hero. Sony cast Issa Rae to voice Jessica Drew in the animated Spider-Man movie. Jessica Drew is one of the most well-known civilian identities of Spider-Woman. A superhero who’s taken on HYDRA and motherhood, she’ll be an exciting addition to the cast.
Meanwhile, the sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part II, has been slated for March 29, 2024.
